Item Details.
The smooth body decorated with a wavy-handled incised decoration, the rim slightly flaring with a rolled lip, the base flat with a bird-like maker's mark on the underside.

Provenance: Private collection of a botanist and Fellow of St John's College, Cambridge, who was posted to Egypt between 1904-1914; with Hixenbaugh Ancient Art, New York; Private collection, New York, acquired from the above 10 September 2011.
