Item Details.
Red-figure lekanis enlivened in white slip, the lid decorated with two profile ladies of fashion, palmettes in between, the top of the knob with radiating petals, the edge of the lip decorated with wave pattern.

Provenance: Acquired at a West Country Auction, UK. Ex Brian Moston-Dunbar.
