Item Details.
Apulian red-figure oinochoe, ovoid body, disc foot, decorated with a wave pattern on the neck and a figure of a woman dressed in sleeveless chiton, the head crowned by a diadem and the kekryphalos, necklace and double armillae on the forearms, a mirror in the left hand, seated on a diphros with his right arm outstretched to collect dew with a bowl from the bell-shaped flowers in front of her. On the back a stylised representation of a palmette twig.

Provenance: Property of a private collector, previously acquired on the UK art market in the 1980s.
