Item Details.

Painted with a frieze of six goats grazing, thick red bands, thin rays around the foot, bands of wavy lines around the rim, glazed interior, concentric circles under the foot.

The vase belongs to Etrusco-Corinthian ware, the Etruscan production that adapts the Corinthian animal-frieze repertoire produced in the workshops of southern coastal Etruria, the Vulci area being the most probable center, with Caere and Tarquinia as alternatives.
