Item Details.
Wearing a tripartide wig, carrying the pick and hoe, a column of hieroglyphs inscribed for:
Wsjr Hm-nTr PtH nb rsj jnb=f (?) Nxt-Jmn
"The Osiris, prophet of Ptah, lord (?) south of his wall, Nakhtamun."

The "temple of Ptah south of his wall" was the great temple for the god Ptah at Memphis. The personal name Nakhtamun means "Amun is strong".

Provenance: Canadian private collection, acquired prior to 1980.
