Item Details.
Usually made of bronze, this is a rare example in wood. Large, depicted wearing the Atef crown with frontal Uraeus, clutching his hands to hold the crook and flail which would have been painted. Nice facial details.

Provenance: ex. US private collection, acquired in the 1970s. Afterwards in the collection of M.G. Gallery New York, Explorer Ancient Art and lately in the Dutch collection of Mr A. v.R.
