Item Details.
Carved with part of the cartouche of the Pharaoh Teos, on the left a figure of a falcon-headed god, Re-Herakhty, wearing a sun disc headdress, holding a Was sceptre, facing a figure of the goddess Maat, wearing a wig, with her attribute the feather of truth protruding from the crown of her head, an ankh is depicted between the two figures, held by Maat.
N.B. Comes with Export Licence from the Italian ministry of Culture.

Provenance: Ex Eternal Egypt Gallery 1994, Private collection of a lady, Rome.
