Item Details.
Highly polished steatite scarab of realistic form, the base engraved with the throne name of the king “Wedj Kheper Re”. Kamose was the full brother of Amosis, the founder of the 18th Dynasty.

Provenance: ex. Collection, Dr. I. Beekmans, acquired in the 1980s on the German art market.
