Item Details.
The vessel’s body in the shape of a female head, wearing radiate diadem with laurel leaves, round red earrings and palm leaves on either side of her neck, the over arching handle with a standing figure, dressed in a long himation, her red hair surmounted by a diadem with rosette and leaves. Extensive remains of red, white, pink, black and blue slip.

Provenance: From the estate of a late North England collector acquired over 30 years period from the 1970s.
