Item Details.
One of the scarcer forms, of opaque black glass and trailed decoration in opaque white and yellow. Ovoid body supported on a stemmed foot, a large trailed handle joining the shoulder to the rim and two delicate looped handles applied across from each other high on the shoulders. Trails of opaque yellow and white encircle the shoulders and then proceed to alternate in a zigzag pattern around the body, ending in several loops above the stemmed foot.

Provenance: British private collection, John B., acquired in the 1980s on the London art market
