Item Details.
Depicted in mature age with a full beard, wavy hair, with a creased brow and deep-set eyes beneath an imposing browline, the eyes with incised irises, wearing a laurel wreath with berries and a cloak around his upper body, with thick folds over his left shoulder. Exquisite.

Provenance: British private collection, acquired prior to 2000 on the London art market.
