Item Details.
Cast bronze open-work cloak fastening mount, formed as a ring with a lion on each shoulder, the jaws gripping the curved horns of an ibex head, the ibex’s muzzle forming the hook for closure, with corresponding loop behind the head.

Provenance: Private collection, Birmingham, UK, acquired 1960’s, ex. London auction.
