Provenance: Ex. British collection, London, previously Dutch private collection, ex. Ralph Huntington Blanchard (1875-1936), Cairo, Egypt. Ralph Huntington Blanchard was a very well known American dealer of Egyptian antiquities operating a “museum” gallery in Cairo next to the Sheppard Hotel in 1920s-30s.
