Item Details.
Repoussé work on a thin gold sheet, depicting muscular Heracles standing facing his seated wife Omphale sitting on a rock, another seated figure holding Heracles club. The sheet of delicate thin gold sheet has been set in modern times on plaster for security and preservation.

Provenance: French collection (1990-2000) acquired at a Monte Carlo 2017 auction, ex. important Paris gallery, ex. Private Parisian collection.
