Item Details.
Large pillow-shaped tablet with plano-convex cross-section, bearing dense cuneiform text to both faces. From the town of Umma, two column of scripts on each side, listing records of cereals gathered in the official stores, with also three kind of cereals from various fields and with totals.

Provenance: Specialised collection of cuneiform texts, the property of a London gentleman and housed in London before 1992. By descent to family members. Examined by Professor Wilfred George Lambert FBA (1926-2011), historian, archaeologist, and specialist in Assyriology and Near Eastern archaeology, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Literature: Cf.
