Item Details.
A presentation scene is shown. On the right a goddess in horned tiara and long flounced robe sits on an angular stool holding up one hand. Two standing figures face her: first a Lamma goddess in horned tiara and long robe falling in creases. She is raising one hand while holding the wrist of a human worshipper behind. He has bare head and wears a long fringed robe while raising one hand. A scorpion is a filler and there is a lunar crescent in the sky. The first owner in the ancient world had his name and identification given in a two-line inscription, but when the seal passed to a second owner this was rubbed down and cannot be read. The design is finely engraved and well preserved. The period is less well known than many others.
