Item Details.
Large and impressive painted terracotta vessel in the form of a seated Zebu bull with hump and curved horns, head up, with the vessel’s filling spout in the shape of a funnel between the horns. Painted in black slip.

Comes with a TL test from the Oxford Authentication Lab. stating this figure to be “Between 3500-5000 years old”.

Provenance: Private UK collection, acquired from gallery Polo, London in 2006, previously in the private collection of a UK gentleman.
