Item Details.
Finely modelled, the sweeping folds of drapery falling into a zig-zag at the front, the ends gathered and looped over the right arm, held out to the front holding an object (now missing). Nice green patina.
Such section would have been part of a composition bronze or bronze & marble figure.

Provenance: European private collection from the 1950s. Published Bonham’s April 2009.
