Item Details.
With round shallow bowl, flared rim, decorated with three ribs, the handle is elaborate with crescent-shaped terminal. Intact example with glossy burnished surface.

Provenance: From the Helge Deikner collection, North Rhine-Westphalia, Kanne acquired in November 1979 from Dr. Phil. Horst-Ulbo Bauer - Small Art of Antiquity, Cologne. In the collection since before 1980. Belonged outside the catalogue to the inventory of the exhibition Real - Antiques from public and private ownership in the Ruhrlandmuseum of the city of Essen.
