I have now purchased 7 items from Artemission, and I have been truly impressed every time. The level of service is remarkably high (Patricia is very on top of her game), the shipping is unusually fast (I received my recent order in 2 days, I live in Florida!), and the items are always astounding (though perhaps that is just my taste) and as described and pictured.

Natürlich hat man zuerst lange Zähne, wenn man von einem Internet-Verkäufer nicht mal den vollen Namen erfährt. Aber: 1. Kann jemand, der so schöne Sachen anbietet, ein ganz böser Mensch sein..? Und 2. Probieren geht über ängstlich sein. Fazit nach abgeschlossener Transaktion: Ich kann 'Artemission' vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Thanks very much indeed for sending so quickly the exquisite 'Gnostic' intaglio with the image of Horus spearing the crocodile, surmounted by a scorpion. The condition is excellent, and exactly as described by you. For such a reasonable price it really is a good piece, almost museum display quality, and certainly of comparable standard to many similar objects published by Campbell Bonner (*Studies in Magical Amulets* Ann Arbor, 1950) which I think were once in the Kelsey Museum there. I am thrilled to add this to my intaglio collection, and am certain that its apotropaic qualities will ward off any crocodiles or scorpions I may ever encounter. Thank you once again. NARMOUTHIS
