Item Details.
With a ring foot, a carved line under the rim, an elongated handle with carved line in the middle and ending with four ducks heads around a wide open work ring.
A trulla or patera is a bowl, usually made of bronze and typically used as a sacred libation vessel during religious events, though the patera could also be used in the domestic sphere for the preparation or serving of food items.

Provenance: Property of a London gentleman, part of his family collection formed in the 1980s-2000.
